Residency Unlimited (RU) is a non-profit art organization that supports the creation, presentation and dissemination of contemporary art through its unique residency program and year-round public programs. RU is located within the former South Congregational Church in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. The space is multifunctional, acting as a hub and meeting place for RU’s various communal activities, public programs, including talks, screenings, performances and exhibitions. RU supports the creative process and promotes exchange and diversity through its unique customized residency program and year-round public programs. By nurturing local, national, and international artists and curators at all stages of their career, RU is particularly committed to promoting multidisciplinary practices and building lasting connections between residents and a broad range of communities.
Residency Unlimited supports OPERE VIVE as a further development of the project that Isabella Indolfi elaborated during her RU residency between February and May 2020.
